For over 80 years, CRISAL has been shaping the art of glassmaking with passion and innovation. CRISAL is Portugal’s only fully automated, large-scale glass manufacturer. As part of the European Leerdam Crisal Glass group, we export to over 100 countries and remain committed to innovation and sustainability. Located in Marinha Grande, renowned for its national glass industry, we bring excellence to both Portugal and the world.
After 17 years of internationalization as part of a U.S.-based group, we returned to European hands in 2022 through the acquisition by the Dutch group Anders Invest. Together with our partner, Royal Leerdam, based in the Netherlands, we form the Leerdam Crisal Glass group. This milestone strengthens our European and global presence, with exports to over 100 countries across five continents.
Anders Invest is driving our evolution through investments in digitalization, technological innovation, and sustainability, with a clear goal: to make Leerdam Crisal Glass one of the most sustainable glassware producers in Europe.

CRISAL operates two furnaces, including one that was inaugurated at the end of 2024. This furnace uses the latest oxyhybrid glass melting technology for sustainable glassware production. The two furnaces feed six production lines, employing both blowing and pressing techniques. Around 90% of our production is exported, proof of global trust in the company’s quality.
