CRISAL reaffirms its commitment to continuous improvement, consistently striving to provide excellent service to its customers while acting in favor of the environment, local communities, and its employees. With this vision, we applied to the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), a national program that supports strategic reforms and investments aimed at accelerating the climate and digital transition and strengthening economic resilience.
These investments have allowed CRISAL to implement key actions, such as the construction of a new oxyhybrid furnace with more energy efficiency, the installation of a photovoltaic-powered self-generation unit, and the preparation for the transition to green energy – including hydrogen by 2027. At the same time, technological improvements and the digitalization of production processes are ongoing.
These measures will significantly reduce the company’s carbon footprint, improve energy efficiency, and strengthen CRISAL’s competitiveness, fully aligning with Anders Invest’s goal of making the Leerdam Crisal Glass Group (LCGlass) the most sustainable glassware producer in Europe.
